At our workshop in Kastoria, Greece, we select genuine Italian-processed leathers that "tell a story". Authentic Italian leather carries the traces of its natural origin.

Creases, small marks or texture variations from one area to another are not defects. They are the "proof" of a natural material that retains its own vitality and distinctive character.

Our work at the workshop begins right here: distinguishing which of these marks enhance your bag and which "imperfections" of nature should be left out. We reject heavy damage, but we keep the natural wrinkles that make every handmade ELLIA leather bag unique.
